Bar B Fine Art

Samantha Barbieri, the artist behind Bar B Fine Art, is a self-taught contemporary western artist based in Paso Robles, California. Her art primarily focuses on the contrast between black and white acrylic; With the help of water, applying multiple thin layers to each spot on the canvas allows for the appearance of a watercolor effect.

​Samantha's art journey began after the passing of her first child in 2020. The use of black and white echoes the emotions that were felt when going through a difficult time. Her paintings depict the vulnerability, tension, and hard-work she has observed by her friends and family in the cattle/agriculture industry. The message she hopes to portray through her work is her own experience dealing with grief, mental health, and how she relates it to her own experiences in a western lifestyle.

Her full-time job is being a mother to her one-year-old son. They enjoy taking walks through local vineyards together, playing with their three large hound dogs and listening to Johnny Cash.
